Levoit Core 300-P, 300S-P & P350-P Filter Guide

Levoit’s Core 300 names are close enough to invite shortcuts, but the complete model suffix still matters. For US models, Levoit’s current Core 300 Series Original Filter page lists Core 300-P, Core 300S-P, and Core P350-P together. That verified family relationship should anchor the purchase—not a product photo or the diameter guessed from a listing.

1. Where to find the model number on the device label

Unplug the purifier and inspect the rating label on the underside of the cylindrical body. Photograph the full label before moving the unit back into place. Read the model line exactly, including the S and the final -P; the app name or the large Core name printed on retail packaging is not a substitute for the device label.

If the label is obscured, check the original manual or order record only as supporting evidence. A saved listing may shorten Core 300S-P to Core 300S, while the physical label is the best record of the US model actually in your home.

2. Similar models that are not in this verified fitment family

Core 200S-P, Core 400S-P, Core 600S-P, and Core Mini-P each have separate official replacement-filter pages. Their shared Core branding does not place them in the Core 300-RF family. FilterFit therefore does not carry Core 300 fitment over to those models.

Within the verified family, Core 300-P, Core 300S-P, and Core P350-P are manufacturer-listed fits for the standard Core 300 Series Original Filter. Specialty Core 300 filters can have narrower model statements, so re-check the compatible-model list when buying a smoke, toxin, or pet-specific variant.

3. Filter components and required quantity

The standard Core 300-RF is one complete cylindrical replacement filter. Levoit describes it as a three-stage assembly combining a pre-filter layer, particle filtration media, and activated carbon. One purifier uses one assembled filter at a time; you do not need three separate cartridges just because the product says three-stage.

A two-pack is two replacement cycles, not two filters installed together. Confirm the package count before comparing prices so a single pack and a multi-pack are not treated as equivalent offers.

4. OEM and aftermarket buying cautions

For OEM purchases, match both the purifier list and Core 300-RF designation on Levoit’s page. Remove plastic packaging before installation and follow the airflow orientation shown in the manual. A genuine-looking box from a marketplace is not proof of seller authorization.

For aftermarket purchases, treat Core 300 or Core 300-RF in the title as a maker or seller claim. Confirm that the complete model—especially 300S-P or P350-P—is listed, then compare dimensions, gasket shape, carbon layer, pack count, and return terms. Do not treat broad Core Series wording as cross-checked compatibility.

5. Common model-specific confusion

The most common mix-ups are reading 300S as a different filter family, assuming P350-P needs a unique size because it is pet-focused, or buying a Core 400S-RF because the housing looks proportionally similar. The current standard-filter page resolves the first two questions by listing all three Core 300-family purifiers together.

Also distinguish a filter type from a purifier model. Labels such as Pet Allergy or Toxin Absorber describe media options; they do not erase the need to check the exact compatible-model statement for that particular filter page.

6. Official-source check date and change history

Official US sources checked September 1, 2026: Levoit’s Core 300 Series Original Filter page and Core 400S-P replacement-filter page. The standard Core 300 page listed Core 300-P, Core 300S-P, and Core P350-P as compatible at review time.

Change log: September 1, 2026 — initial publication. Future reviews should record any added or removed model, renamed part number, specialty-filter exception, or changed package quantity without overwriting the earlier record.

How this guide was prepared

Filter Fit separates compatibility evidence from purchase availability. Exact model identity, region, revision, and authoritative source scope are reviewed before a relationship is treated as verified.
