HumidifierModel Identification

How to Find Your Humidifier Model Number

Use the rating label on the humidifier base or housing. Empty and unplug the unit first, then copy the full model code—including hyphens and suffixes. A number molded into the removable tank or printed on the old wick may identify that component, not the humidifier.

Record the complete identity first

Copy the manufacturer, complete model number, region, and every revision or suffix from the product label. A family name or visual match is not enough to prove that a replacement part fits.

  • Photograph the full rating label.
  • Keep spaces, hyphens, letters, and suffixes.
  • Treat serial numbers and model numbers as different identifiers.
  • Confirm the market or region when the documentation distinguishes it.

Check the fixed housing

Look under the base, on the rear panel, near the power cord, or beneath a removable tank. Do not tip a filled unit. Photograph the complete label so voltage, model, and region can be reviewed together.

  • Model: used to find the correct manual and wick.
  • Serial: identifies one unit.
  • Tank or tray code: may identify only the removable component.
  • Wick number: identifies a replacement candidate, not the appliance.

Match the identity to evidence

Use an official manual, manufacturer parts page, or support document that connects the exact product model to an exact replacement identifier. Marketplace compatibility lists can help discover a candidate, but they should not replace manufacturer evidence.

How this guide was prepared

Filter Fit separates compatibility evidence from purchase availability. Exact model identity, region, revision, and authoritative source scope are reviewed before a relationship is treated as verified.
